Shania Twink
Shania Twink is Dani Nash, Lydia Persaud, Christine Bougie, CJ Wiley, and Kate Palumboan: an all-Queer band from Toronto, doing pop country and adjacent fierce femme bangers — think Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Tracy Chapman and others. They certainly hit hard within Queer spaces, but their appeal is much broader as well. They’re world-class musicians and performers, including a crossover in members of Dwayne Gretzky, as well as successful Canadian bands like July Talk, Bahamas, and more.
Bren D'Souza
Bren D'Souza hates writing bios, which is a shame because they're constantly doing things that require bio writing. The Toronto-based comedian and writer's sharply observed investigations of identity, mental health, and relationships, alongside their magnetic stage presence and signature snark has won over audiences all over the country. Their debut album "Clever, Hip, and Scary!" released in May of 2023 debuted at number 1 on iTunes, and received rave reviews in Instagram dms from their friends, family, and stalkers, and is available for streaming on most platforms.
Ava Val
Ava Val is a John Candy Award-winning comedian/musician/actress from Toronto. Her honest and insightful-yet-silly & spontaneous account of her transgender journey has turned heads across North America. In addition to her numerous taped standup performances for CBC Gem, Crave, CTV, and CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud, she also has a new standup comedy special "So Brave" currently on YouTube, hosts her own podcast "PodGis", and was a lead cast member in season 3 of OutTV's Drag Heals. Ava is surely an act that must be seen in person to be believed - and celebrated!
Dan James
Dan James is a writer and comedian from London (UK). He’s performed at Just for Laughs Toronto, reached over 23 million views on TikTok and has opened for queer comedy legends like Joel Kim Booster, Rachel Scanlon and James Adomian.
Noella Rose
Fierce, funny, and full of love, Noella Rose is here to remind you that it’s not about being perfect—it’s about owning your confidence, charm, and sprinkling a little humor along the way. Her presence? Unforgettable. Her style? Impeccable. Her dance moves? Let’s just say she may not always hit every step, but darlin’, she’ll make you feel every single one. From her confident, head-turning strut to that signature wink, Noella is out here proving that a little sass and a lot of heart is all you need to slay.
“Because, y’all… just like a rose, we break through concrete and bloom stronger than ever”
Clarke Kunt
Clarke Kunt (he/she) is like a trans Chad Michael Murray with Julia Roberts mommy energy. His drag is an examination of masculinity and femininity in all their many forms, focusing specifically on a jock persona and themes of toxic masculinity and desire. Clarke’s performances are precise, detail-oriented, and driven by theatrical flair. Clarke Kunt’s first ever performance was the April 2023 winner of the Halifax Drag Open Stage, and he has since performed at sold out shows in Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, and Halifax. Some of his work can be seen @clarkekuntt on Instagram. [ Photo credit: Ness Devos ]
